Join our Rotary Club in April as we focus on Maternal and Child Health, working towards reducing preventable deaths and improving access to essential medical services for mothers and children worldwide.

As we begin the month of April, it's important to recognize the maternal and child health care as a priority. Rotary International has designated this month as Maternal and Child Health Month to bring attention to the fact that at least 7 million children under the age of five die each year due to malnutrition, poor health care, and inadequate sanitation. Additionally, every day mothers risk their lives giving birth, and millions of children die each year from preventable causes.

At Rotary, we are committed to making a difference in our local and global communities. One of the ways we do this is by focusing on maternal and child health care. We provide immunizations and antibiotics to babies, improve access to essential medical services, and support trained health care providers for mothers and their children. Through our projects, we ensure sustainability by empowering the local community to take ownership of health care training programs.

By getting involved with our local Rotary Club, you can help make a difference in the lives of mothers and children around the world. Together, we can work towards reducing the number of deaths caused by preventable diseases and inadequate health care.
