March is Clean Water and Sanitation Month for Rotary Clubs!

Access to clean water and proper sanitation facilities is a fundamental human right. It not only leads to healthier communities, especially for children, but also contributes to their success.

At Rotary, we believe that building wells is not enough. We focus on integrating water, sanitation, and hygiene education into our community projects. By educating children about disease transmission and promoting good hygiene practices, they miss fewer school days and are able to pass on these lessons to their families, thus amplifying our impact.

Did you know Rotary International uses monthly themes to reflect our areas of focus to help structure meetings, service projects, and other events? You can find the full list of monthly themes on our District 6270 website.
