What’s This I Hear about a Community Newsletter?
The Community Education Connection is proud to announce the debut of a quarterly school/community newsletter that will be published in March and then quarterly thereafter.
The newsletter will be mailed to every box holder in Two Rivers. It's time to "tell your story" as a business or as a community club or organization and highlight the great perks Two Rivers and your group or business has to offer.
It is also an opportunity for the district to highlight the great things students are accomplishing in our schools including in the classroom, during athletic competitions, in clubs or co-curriculars, etc.
How can you participate?
1. We need articles and pictures from you. It can be about events that have happened or will happen that you want highlighted in the March newsletter…anything others would find interesting or informative. The first articles/pictures are due by February 28th and can be emailed to Travis Klein at travis.klein@trschools.k12.wi.us.
2. Spread the word to other businesses/organizations/groups in the community-senior center, Lion's Club, City of Two Rivers, Rotary, TRBA, Businesses, Optimist Club, etc.. that they can write articles, share pictures, or publicize upcoming events.
3. Include an ad! For this first newsletter, ads are going to be 1/8 page ads for a donation payable to the Two Rivers School District (4521 Lincoln Ave. Two Rivers, WI 54241). The donation will help pay for printing and distribution. (The district retains the right to include or not include an ad based on appropriateness of the ad. Please do not include ads that advertise alcohol/drugs/smoking or inappropriate dress or language.) Ads in .jpeg or .pdf format can also be sent to Travis Klein: travis.klein@trschools.k12.wi.us.
